The subject obsessively repeated the number 3.2. The subject wrote it 440 times. The subject claimed the number ‘keeps time in line.’
MATERIAL ANALYSIS:
– Concrete sample: Standard composition
– Rebar sample: Standard steel
– Anomalous inclusion: Microscopic symbol embedded in aggregate
– Symbol: Circle with three waves
– Symbol appears in 3.2% of all samples taken
Engineer’s Note: “The foundation is wrong. The building is wrong. Everything built on this site will be wrong. I am resigning.”
