On Regulatory Frameworks

ChronoShield advocates for expanded federal oversight of temporal displacement technology. They cite several near-miss incidents that, in their view, demonstrate the need for stricter controls.

ThAERIS agrees that oversight is important. We disagree with the premise that our industry is unregulated. We are regulated – by physics. The laws of causality are immutable, unbribable, and universally enforced. No federal agency can match that level of consistency.

On Near-Miss Incidents

ChronoShield’s white paper references three events they classify as near-misses. ThAERIS confirms these events occurred. We also confirm that all three were contained successfully with zero casualties, zero timeline breaches, and zero regulatory violations.

A near-miss is, by definition, a successful containment. ChronoShield’s alarmism conflates detection with failure. If a smoke alarm beeps, it means the alarm is working – not that the house is burning.

On Innovation vs. Caution

We respect ChronoShield’s commitment to safety. However, excessive caution is its own form of risk. The temporal displacement sector advances through controlled experimentation, not through waiting for perfect conditions that will never arrive.

ThAERIS will continue to operate at the frontier of temporal engineering. We welcome ChronoShield’s audits. We simply ask that their auditors understand the technology they are auditing.
